How to export data to spreadsheets which are open source ( Kingsoft spreadsheets, Openofice spreadsheets)

I have created a standalone GUI application that needs to export solution data into a spreadsheet. I am currently exporting into MS Excel.But I am now required to export that data to other open source spreadsheets inorder to be able to use this application systems in which there are no MS Office products installed ? Is there a way ?
