Intel Compiler in Linux environment

According to the compatibility matrix https://it.mathworks.com/support/requirements/supported-compilers.html it seems that Intel C++ compiler is not supported for mex compiling. Is it correct?

If so, as I'm in the process of migrating from Windows to Linux environment and it would be helpful to be able to maintain the same kind of performance.
