worth investiment? video card for computer vision processing

Hello everybody,

I am working with real-time processing of some feature detection (small blobs in two cameras at the same time) and soon i will have to estimate Camera pose in real time as well. I was wondering if its worth the investiment to buy a 5.2-6.1 compute capability video card (e.g. gtx960, gtx1050...) to my data processing. Actually, i do not have any gpu processing and can handle well the two cameras with a 8ram / i5 4core / no gpu.
