pi/4 QPSK (rotating constellation) using Communications toolbox

I am trying to determine if the MATLAB communications toolbox allows you to do pi/4 QPSK modulation. This modulation scheme rotates the constellation by pi/4 after every symbol (thus avoiding zero crossings) and completes a full rotation every 8 symbols. The closest I've used is the OQPSK modulation object, but this works on half symbol periods. The normal QPSK modulation object only supports a one-off constellation rotation.

Has anyone done pi/4 QPSK using the MATLAB communications toolbox? Is there a way of mangling OQPSK to give the same result?
