Showing pcolor plot on the earth globe

Hello,

I'm trying to visualize space lidar data on the earth globe using google earth kml files. My question is:

How to put a 3D plot on the globe, which has lat,long pairs, altitude and color matrix data?

I have all the data but cannot plot it on google earth globe....I have used google earth toolbox but there seems to be no option for what I need. The closest thing is ge_poly - it creates shape based on the coordinates but it is gray ribbon and I cannot place my graph on it...

Can anyone help me with this?
