About writing in a diary

I’ve 3 diaries. 1. myDiary 2. Rectangle 3. Circle. I want to write on rectangle diary. I write in command window Diary(‘rectangle’) Now I start coding. After writing some lines I click on the rectangle file to open the editor. It opens. But my newly written codes are not there. I close matlab. Open it again. Now I open the rectangle as an editor. This time it’s okay. New codes are there. Why I face this problem?
