Strange warning box during executable mode

I keep getting this warning box when running the program as a console application, but not when running in matlab.

It says 'FILE NOT FOUND IN CURRENT DIRECTORY. TYPE IN CORRECT FILE NAME, OR FULL EXTENSION'

it seems obvious enough, but i cannot find where or why this keeps happeneing...

Does this mean, that the file is not found in the current directory, when you run the console program? What is the current directory, when the console program is running? Do you find the wanted file there?
