When the load occurs three-phase fault, the output power of diesel generator exceeds its rated capacity. I think my modeling of diesel generator is correct. As mentioned above, I want to add current limiter to limit the output of diesel generator. In simulink, the output of diesel generator (red frame in the figure) is a dot, but the saturator is in the shape of an arrow, i.e., dot and arrow can't be connected together. Moreover, I can't use current limiter in simscape.
What other methods can be used to limit? Thanks!

Hi,
The Synchronous Machine pu Standard is from the specialized power systems library and the Current Limiter is from simscape. Currently it is not possible to connect the components of the 2 libraries together. Hence there is no direct way to model a current limiter in your case.
I have attached a model that can be a work around. Here the signals are connverted and then the Saturation block limits the value in simulink. Then the current source will produce current corresponding to the new saturated value. However you will have to tune the model as per your needs.
Hope this helps !!
