Applying Two Filters on Same Image

Is it possible to apply two filters in different locations of the same image? If so, how could I resolve it?

Yes.

overall_output_image = input_image;
overall_output_image(r1a:r1b, c1a:c1b) = first_filter( input_image(r1a:r1b, c1a:c1b) );
overall_output_image(r2a:r2b, c2a:c2b) = second_filter( input_image(r2a:r2b, c2a:c2b) );
