MATLAB crashes when running a compiled MEX file

Hello everyone,

As the title points out, I would like to run a MEX file, which compiled without any problems -- please see code http://ctrlv.it/id/MzI5NTY5. I am trying to access certain HyperMesh functions, using its C++ API. MATLAB does not crash every time I compile a C++ file, but when it comes to accessing the HyperMesh API, it just crashes when running. Here are also the software versions I use:

• MEX -- MatLab R2012B
• C++ Compiler -- Visual Studio 2010
• HyperMesh v11.0
• Windows Server 2008 R2

all running on 64 bit. Did anybody encounter this behavior before? I appreciate any help I can get.

UPDATE: I have also tried it on MatLab R2009B and Visual Studio 2005 (C++ Compiler) with the exact same result -- it just crashes.
