Start recording Emotiv PRO signals from Matlab

I need to sync my Emotiv Insight with matlab. I plan to make a GUI to make my database and from the GUI tell the Emotiv PRO app to start recording the signals. Unfortunately I am a beginner at this and I don't know how to do it. Someone could access me or provide me with a source to consult. I've searched the internet but have had no luck finding useful information. I hope you can help me. Thank you.
