When i tried to change the training function in nntrain , from trainlm to traindx, i get the following error :

Error using fitnet (line 73)

FCN is not the name of a function on the MATLAB path.

I used the below code for changing learning rate and momemtum .

trainFcn = 'traindx';  % Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation.


% Create a Fitting Network
hiddenLayerSize =10;

net.trainParam.lr = 0.5;
net.trainParam.mc=0.5;
net = fitnet(hiddenLayerSize,trainFcn);

The message is correct. Mathworks does not supply any function named traindx .

It does, however, supply a function named traingdx
