How to connect the next set of points with a smooth line/curve?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to smooth the next set of points:

x=[0 25 26 65 66 100 101 286 285 250 249 220 221 311];
y=[160 161 25 26 161 162 201 200 115 114 75 74 24 15];

But I can't do it I've been trying with many codes that I found in Matlab answers but nothing works. Please help :c
