Unable to access MAT-file logging option

I am not able to access the code generation (wherein MAT-file logging option exists) tab in Simulink. Is there a specific toolbox required for this feature?

Hi Vatsal,

In order to access MATLAB File logging implement the following steps in MATLAB 2020a inside SIMULINK

Step 1: In your model window, open the Configuration Parameters dialog box or in the modelling tab and click on the model settings Configuration Parameters dialog box will be opened.

Step 2: In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, go to Code Generation > Interface and expand Advanced parameters, or type MAT-file logging in the search box.

Step 3: You will find the MAT-file logging option.

Hi Vatsal,

In order to use code generation, you need a MATLAB Coder license.

so, I recommend you to install MATLAB coder toolbox from the Apps tab in the toolstrip. After the installation the code generation option in the configuration parameters will be enabled and you be able to see the MAT file logging option (Code Generation > Interface and expand Advanced parameters, or type MAT-file logging in the search box).

Matlab coder is already installed in my MATLAB. Please verify whether the toolbox installed is the correct one or not. If yes, please help me proceed further.

Did you manage to figure out why the MAT file logging option is not available? I am having the same issue, where I have both Matlab, Simulink and Embedded Coder installed already, and still I do not have the option to enable MAT file logging.
