Timer Objects in MATLAB Compiler

Is it possible to compile functions with timer objects? I have successfully compiled a gui, but certain functions that require a timer do not work. Is there a way to fix this or are timer objects not support when compiling?

There are known issues to be aware when using ML Compiler with timer-objects:
