Number of stages in McCabe Thiele plot

Hi, I would like to introduce number of stages into the plot generated by the Matlab code, however, I do not know how. Can anyone help? I attached the code file, plus a picture of the plot without stages and with stages. (The one with stages are not generated by me) I found it from another Matlab file, which I also attached here. I tried to run it, however it did not work.
