Copying inports in Simulink: how to disable context menu?

One way to copy a block in Simulink is to hold down the CTRL key, then click and drag the source block to the desired position for the copy. This works well for most blocks. However, when a single inport is copied in this manner, a context menu appears giving the option to paste or duplicate the inport. Because I never use the duplicate inport feature, clicking "paste" slows me down considerably if I am adding a large number of inports.
There are other ways to copy blocks, such as CTRL+C, CTRL+V but click-and-drag is my preferred method.
Is there a way to set "paste" as my default preference for copied inports to prevent the context menu from appearing?

Currently it is not possible to disable the "Duplicate" context menu item and have "Paste" as default.
I have brought this issue to the notice of our developers. They will investigate the matter further.
