How do I print values to console selected in a plot?

Hello there,

I have a big Data Map in the following structure:

[a1,b1,x1,y1]

[a2,b2,x2,y2]

...

I want to print a figure which displays the a and the b values. When I know select a point (a1,b1) in this figure I want the values x1 and y1 to be printed in the console.

Has anyone a clue how to do it?

try this

[~,ix] = pdist2([a1,b1], data(:,1:2));
data(ix,:);

where data(:,1:2) is two first columns (a,b)

and a1,b1 values you want to find
