Thomson Reuters MarketQA database

Has anyone linked Matlab to MarketQA by ODBC and been able to read data. I have been able to connect and see the dBase. But unable to read data from the tables since the QAL query is not a typical SQL call. Any help or advice would be appreciated as MarketQA offers no example files.
