Matlab figure to excel file

Hi!
I would like to convert the matlab figure so that the data of the matlab figure and also the figure itself is displayed in excel. Is that possible?

an image of the figure perhaps. making it interactive would be harder

You can refer similar MATLAB Answer posted here on importing MATLAB figure into excel sheet using ActiveX .
