Running the Report generator toolbox(v3.9) from GUI, closes GUI..

I am using the report generator toolbox from a GUI, but i am having a problem where the Report generator closes all windows and figures after it is done, and this includes the GUI i am running it from.

I have searched the Net and i can see that others have had the same problem with earlier versions, but the workarounds i found for the earlier versions have not worked for me. Some places it is stated that it was fixed, but in my version 3.9 (R2010b) it is still not working.

This is a real problem as reporintg is a big part of my matlab-related work.

Anyone know a possible workaround/fix for this?
