Access to Matalb as admin

I have a colleague that need access the Matlab as admin same as me.

What to do ?

Hi Lene

It is my understanding that you are trying to give your colleague Matlab access as admin.

The license of MATLAB is stored under the administrator account.One must have permission to access the license folders.License files are located in the licenses folder within the MATLAB installation directory.So when you colleague starts MATLAB replace the administrator account name with the user account of the colleague.

Hello,

From my understanding, you want to add your colleague as an administrator to the license.

If you are currently an administrator, you can add Administrators on your Master License by following the instructions below.

1. Go to www.mathworks.com
2. Log into your MathWorks Account
3. After you are logged in, click on your name in the top right corner and select ‘My Account’
4. Click on any License number which will open your License center
5. Click the link on the top of the page for ‘Master Licenses’ (Note : If you do not see the 'Master Licenses' link, click on 'Contact Administrator(s)' and then on 'Edit Administrators' which will redirect you to the Master License View)
6. Click on the 'Administrator(s)' tab
7. Click 'Add Administrators'
8. Enter the Email Address for the new Administrator
9. If necessary, modify if the new Administrator should receive email notifications for Software Maintenance Service
10. Click ‘Add’

A confirmation message will be displayed that the new Administrator has been added to the Master License.

An Email Confirmation will be sent to all Administrators on the Master License.
