How do I obtain the impulse response of the transfer function given below:
(s - 1)
H(S) = ------------------------------------
(s + 1) (s + 2)
num = input('enter the numerator of the transfer function')
den = input('enter the denominator of the transfer function')
impulse(num,den)
This is User Defined input problem.

Hi,
It is clear from the question that you want to find the impulse response of transfer function.
You can proceed with either of the solution :
A) For that as soon as you have transfer function available , you can simply use ilaplace function as
ilaplace corresponds to inverse laplace which is used for converting s domain to t domian (time).
