Hi everybody!
I have installaed a MATLAB R2019b package using a new license and now I'd like to get rid of MATLAB R2018a to save some space on memory.
Whenever I try to run the uninstaller, both from the .exe file in MATLAB files or directly from Windows' control panel, it tells me it can't be done due to the fact there are still some "running sessions". I'm not really sure how to deal with it, since it appears as I've already closed all tabs of MATLAB from different users.
Do you have any suggestion? Is there a way to find out if there is still any session running I can't detect?
Thanks in advance!

I am assuming you are using matlab on windows machine. There might be chance that some threads of matlab are still running in background.Use task manager to remove all background threads and processes related to matlab. Then try to uninstall matlab 2018a using control panel or uninstaller.
