I'm using the power_BrushlessDCmotor example model to run a PMSM. My application is a sinusoidal bemf. The example is tra[ezoidal and plots out Stator back EMF a_e (V). When I change the PMSM to sinusoidal with round rotor the simulation fails with "Stator back EMF e_a (V)" can not be found in bus selector block. When I double click on the bus selector it does not give that signal in the available signal list.
How can I look at the back EMF when sinusoidal is selected?
Thanks,

back emf is not directly available for the sinusoidal. It is an open box model so you can look inside to modify it and use the customize block function in the powergui to bring more signals out. However, it is also your speed times your back emf constant, so you can usually skip that more complicated step and just scale your speed to know it.
