Object detection bounding boxes with high confidence level

i have been doing a program for object detection using ACF detector, When i get the output there are boxes overlapping on the same object with maximum and minimum confidence level, so how can i remove the boxes with low confidence levels, i have tried strongestBbox but it is not working for me
