Does MATLAB Runtime R2016a (9.0.1) support deployment of Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot that is programmed with MATLAB R2016a?

I wrote an algorithm, with MATLAB R2016a, to control a Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot. The support package for Lego Mindstorms EV3 from MATLAB was installed. Within the MATLAB R2016a environment, the robot functions as intended.
Can the algorithm be deployed to run on R2016a (9.0.1) version of MATLAB Runtime, for controlling the Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot?
