How can i use value class objects in a Matlab.System Simulink Block?

Hi,
i'm trying to set a value class object via the Block Parameter Dialog. Simulink gives the error:
Invalid Settings in 'Model/MATLAB System' for parameter 'xxx'.
Is it event possible to set such a value class via the Dialog in version R2016b? R2018b does it without complaining..
