Is the matlab license linked to the MAC address?

Hello,

is my matlab license linked to a specific MAC address? I mean, can I install matlab and activate the installation on a computer regardless of the MAC address?

Another question: if in future I need to dismiss the computer where matlab is installed on, can I reinstall matlab and activate it on a different computer with a differet MAC address?
