You can see the documentation for the read data API call. There is a dateRange parameter you can use. Just be extra careful about the date format, it is qute picky.

$(document).ready(function() {
$("#download").click(function() {
$.ajax({
url:'https://api.thingspeak.com/update?api_key=D***field8=1',
type:'POST',
success:function(response){
window.location = response;
}
});
});
});
" I am getting an error, the page you looking for doesnt exist" But once i use GET its not authenticated, how can i resolve this issue..?
You said you were using jquery from a plugin. It sounded like that plugn was on your own site.
If you are trying to use jquery to read data over a specific date range, you can make a call to the API (perhaps with JQuery.get()) and it will return the data to you. I would suggest json format.
If you are trying to read data from within Thingspeak, you can use thingSpeakRead in a MATLAB analysis or MATLAB visualization.
Wht is the final goal of the project? Its not quite clear what exactly you wish to do.
We aiming to use the plugin, such as this one for own development use when using IOT application and other libraries that support Jquery or Javascript libraries when using any web control in the front end stack.
