meshCanopy/File Exchange - output in subplot

I want to subplot the meshCanopy output

Comment out line 86 where it generates a new figure.

Line86 -> %figure

This will make it plot in the current axes such as with subplot. I guess that was probably an oversight in my design of that program...

Sorry but I am new with Matlab and did not understand your answer. Can you please clarify more?

Is there a way to store the plot in the memory and then just subplot it?

No. You need to turn off the new figure creation in meshCanopy. To do this, go to line 86 and comment it out.
