Can Matlab R2018b support Microsoft Visual studio 2010 to set up as C MEX Compiler?

According to the System Requirements page for previous releases, Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 is not listed as a supported compiler for creating MEX-files for release R2018b. Skimming back through the releases, the list of supported compilers for release R2016b states "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Professional SP1 is not supported as of R2016b".
