I downloaded a data base of 7000 image each of which is a matrix 196*196*3 matrix .I need to experiment my clastering algorithm so in my algorithm the data base is a matrix N*m . how can i preprocess this 7000 jpg image in order to experiment the algo ???

I heard about a method consists on sampling several points on each face contour such as eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth and cheek, and considering the median of points sampled from the nose as the origin
