Simulation of a BLDC-Motor with basic Datasheet information

Is it possible or reasonable to use the DC-Motor Block in Simscape to simulate a BLDC-Motor?

Can I use the parameters of the BLDC-Datasheet one-to-one?

I just want to simulate the behaviour of the motor in a multidomain system. I don't want to simulate the power electronics, the commutation or the behaviour of the controller.

Hi JM,

I read your query. Instead of trying to use DC Motor block to simulate a BLDC Motor, try using BLDC Motor block found in Simscape -> Electrical -> Electromechanical -> Permanent Magnet -> BLDC block. Alternatively, try searching "BLDC" in SIMULINK Library browser too. The visual representation of the block has been attached below for your reference.
