Sum of function symbolic calculation

I need your help to determine this sum symbolic Sum sum f(x,i)×f(y,j)

For i= 1: n and the same for j

Are 'x' and 'y' your symbolic variables? I am assuming that here 'f' is a matrix with a symbolic?

Yes, x and y are symbolic variable. You can assume f as symbolic matrix defined by x and y.
