Connecting to external target from model copied to another machine

Hi

I'm wondering if it is possible to build external target on the target machine (x86) and then copying the simulink model to host machine (x86-64) and connecting to the target from there?

I'm always getting checksum mismatch when I'm trying to do it, even for a fresh and identical copy of the model

I know that usually people build the target on the host machine and copy the program to the target not the otherway around like this case :)

Any highlights on what is being checksumed could help answering the question as well.
