Is there a possibility to restrict access to reference files in MATLAB Grader only for teachers/instructors? I wanted to upload my solutions there and prevent students from using them.
Or maybe until I don't give the name of a file in e.g. an instruction, it's not visible for learners?

Why do you want to upload a file? Why not just add your solution as the reference solution? Students will not be able to view that.
Answering the question you asked, there is no way to truely hide files you upload from students. You can add files without telling students, but those files will exist in the same folder students are working in. If they explore, they will be able to see all files that are in their current folder.
You could upload pcoded files. This obfuscates the file contents, making it much more difficult for students to see the contents of your files. Of course, it obfuscates it for you as well, so that doesn't really help you preserve a solution file.

Thank you for your answer. I thought about uploading a file just because I've got tasks with individual input data, so the reference solution would generate over 50 different solutions every time. There's no problem with adding my solution as reference one, but it will take some time to redo my generating script and divide it into parts :)
TBH, I was thinking about using Grader just to help myself in checking students' homework connected with scientific problems only, not necessarily with Matlab.

Another resource to share might be this online training. One of the chapters covers designing problems in MATLAB Grader and might prove useful.

Actually I've watched that earlier:
"Next, you can provide data and code files that can be used by the learner."
This is not 100% clear for me. Files CAN be used, but can learners SEE this possibility even if I don't write down names of files into the learner template?
