how to transfer data from from gps device that has usb interface

i ve an gps reciever(garmin etrex 30) usb interface.i need to trnsfer lat,lon,speed from this device and compare it with the data that i ve in a spread sheet eg.input.xls in the following order

A1 10.67890
B1  76.7890
c1   HUMP

if the comparison between the current gps location matches the data i need to open an audio file which sounds "Hump ahead plz reduce ur speed". then i need to read speed data from gps again and store it in an excel file eg.output.xls in the following order

A1  10.67890
B1   76.7890
C1   HUMP
D1   3km/hr

could anyone help me with the program that will do all the above specified works
