traction in pde toolbox

sir, i have to apply a force of 20 on a face . In MatLab i have applied a traction of 20 in pde toolbox. Are both condiotions same ?

If no how can i apply a force of 20 on a face in MatLab?

Do you want to apply a FORCE on the face, or a pressure load, so a force per unit area?

Typically, if you want to apply a specific force, then you might pick one point where the force is applied.

Or, if you want to apply a force to the entire face, then convert that to a pressure, by dividing by the area of the face. (I don't know how to apply a pressure load in that toolbox since I don't have it, but I imagine this is possible.)
