Dear Matlab community,
I am curious to wether a script can be generated in order to obtain cross-sections of a surface (.stl) using a different cutting plane for each cross sections. For example, cross_section_1 will have a cutting plane (equation) and cross_section_2 will have a different cutting plane and the idea will be to generate a set of cross-sections going all through the surface (.stl) using a set of cutting plane equations.
I am attaching an example of what my surface looks like.
Thank you so much,
-Dev

You may plot cross sections with different cutting planes. Refer the following example.
Repeat the above snippet of code for different cutting planes. To plot all cross sections in a single figure, set hold property of axes to ON.
