How can I stop an object which makes a free falling?

Hello,

I have a simulink model which connected to simulink 3D animation. I have an object which does a free falling. I have the position that I release the object. After releasing

it I can track the position of the object. however I could not introduce the altitude of the ground so whenever it hits to ground it continues to dive deeper. I want to stop this object at the point that it hits to ground. I will be very happy to see your helpful solutions.
