i am sending 8 bit binary numbers from matlab i require a code of arduino for led blinking acording to binary number

I am sending 8 bit binary numbers from Matlab.for example if i send 00000001 from matlab then acording to this LED-1 blinks,and if i send 00000010 then LED-2 should blink. i require code of arduino ide for led blinking through different binary numbers.kindly help me i shall be very thankfull.
