ReadTable hangs when reading from an Excel sheet range

doing next statement
FeedsPptys = readtable( 'NapFeeds.xlsx', 'Filetype', 'spreadsheet', 'Sheet', 'Main'', 'Range', 'E37:DG42')
and it never comes back, except when I kill the EXCEL instance in taskmanager.
