Sir, I have an audio file with length 287339 samples but i have to change that audiofile length to 285040 . How i will do that ?

The audio file sampling ffrequency is 44100Hz.

It depends on how you want to shorten it. If you want to keep the 44100 Hz sampling frequency, your best option is just to truncate it.

If ‘y’ is your signal:

yshort = y(1:285040,:);

Your other option is to resample it using the resample (link) function. This will change its sampling frequency.

If you want to make it longer, you have to use the resample function.

Do you want to resample to a lower pitch with the same sampling frequency? Do you want to add silence on to the end? Do you want to start to repeat the audio from the beginning? Do you want the extra 0.8 seconds to be a clip from Handel ?
