How do i get Matlab to run in its Desktop and not output to other Desktops that I am currently on

I am currently running a long script that outputs many plots so i open up another desktop on my Windows 10 system and comence to do other work. Somewhere in the middle of my other work the Matlab , which is open in my first window starts plotting and the figures open in my current desktop and not the one that Matlab is running in. this is really anoying...
