Possible to stack DOA algorithm on phased.platform?

I was wondering if it is possible to stack a DOA algorithm onto the phased.Platform function? If so, how do I do it?

The plan is to obtain DOA estimates of a moving platform. For example, a static base station detecting the DOA of a moving aircraft/train/etc relative to the base station.
