No that's not what i mean; I mean if i have sin(3t) for example ,and i want to divide that function and plot each part into a different quarter.

The only way to create multiple plots in a figure is to use subplots as mentioned by per isakson

You need to decide how to divide the plot then plot each part on a separeat subplot.

For example the following code divides a sin signal into four parts:

t=linspace(0,2*pi);
d=floor(length(t)/4);
t1=t(1:d);
t2=t((1:d)+d);
t3=t((1:d)+2*d);
t4=t((3*d+1):end);
