Licensing error: -25,147 when installing matlab 2019a

Hi Support:
I'm trying to install matlab 2019a on our HPC cluster, it has an associated license server. I used the license server to install matlab 2019a, but after the installation, matlab won't launch with error -25, some searching on the matlab QA pointed me to upgrade the license server, so I installed the version of matlab license server from the R2019a installer. I edited the 2018b license file "DAEMON MLM" line to use the newest mlm.exe(our license file expires in July and our license admin claims there's no new passcode since we have yearly purchases), restarted the service, and log show 11.14.1.2 version of license server loaded, but 2019a matlab is still giving the same error. The client side shows error -25,147 and the server shows "License server system does not support this version of this feature. (-25,334)".
I also found this thread https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/404028-license-problems-cheat-sheet about the -25 error, but seems like the question has been removed.

My notes from my Cheat Sheet (that you found) are that the license file needs to be updated, not that the license server needs to be updated.
R2019a needs a different license file because of changes to how polyspace and Stateflow are licensed.
