Kinematic Analysis of the Mechanism (using matlab code)
Complete a kinematic analysis of the engine mechanism. In the report, this portion of the work should include, but is not limited to, the following graphs:
- Kinematic mechanism (e.g. a figure similar to Figure 3 above)
- The trajectories (paths) of points A, B, D and E. You can do this by plotting the x- coordinate vs. the y-coordinate for each of these points. Plot all points in the same graph.
- The x coordinate of point A and x coordinate of point E, plotted from 00to 360 of the crank angle θ.
- The x component of the linear velocities of points A and E, plotted from 0 to 360 of the crank angle θ.
- The angular velocity ωB of point B, plotted from 0 to 360of the crank angle θ.

Geometry parameters: L1=1.5”, L2=5.5”, L31=2.5”, L32=1”, L4=3”, Xc=5”, Yc=2”, H=3”, omega=60 rpm, k=5.6 lb/in, and m=1 lb (mass).
