eliminate関​数が使えるR2018​a以前の代わりの関数​などはありますか.

連立方程式の変数を消去する方法として, eliminate関数があることを知りましたが, R2018a以降に導入されたものだそうです. R2018aより前には, 代替となる関数などはあったのでしょうか.

As far as I know Mupad is one alternative I can think of https://in.mathworks.com/help/symbolic/mupad_ref/groebner-eliminate.html but Mupad notebooks are going to be removed in the future releases. Best option is to upgrade to the latest release - 2019a.
